Do I need an appointment to try on gowns at Say Yes to Your Dress Bridal?
Yes, we are an appointment-only boutique. This allows us to give each bride the time and attention she deserves while picking out her dream dress.
How long is my appointment?
We dedicate 90 minutes to each bride. Our Say Yes to Your Dress Bridal Consultants have found that this is the perfect amount of time to allow our brides to browse through our inventory and try on their favorites.
Who should I bring with me to my appointment?
Big groups usually come with big opinions, so we recommend at Say Yes to Your Dress Bridal to only bring your closest friends and family members. Your mom, sister, and best friend are the perfect people to bring. We cannot accommodate for more than 6 guests per appointment at our shop.
Can I bring food and drinks to my appointment?
Say Yes To Your Dress Bridal asks that you do not bring food or drinks to your appointment. We strive to protect the gowns in our store. You can upgrade your bridal appointment to our ‘Platinum’ package by purchasing a bottle of champagne and a take home ‘Bride’ hanger, when booking your appointment.
When do I arrive at my appointment?
Please arrive on time for your appointment. In most cases, we have appointments prior to and immediately following your appointment. Should you arrive early or late, we may not be able to assist you.
What happens if I am late to my bridal appointment?
If you are running late to your 1 hour and 30 minute shopping appointment please call us to let us know at 972.670.4937. If you are more than 20 minutes late, we will mark you down as a no-show and remove you from our scheduling system.
Do I need to confirm my appointment?
Say Yes To Your Dress Bridal will text message you and send you an email to confirm your appointment 24 to 48 hours before your appointment.
How far in advance should I make my appointment?
For weekday appointments we recommend booking 1 to 2 weeks in advance. Our Saturday appointments book up quickly, so we recommend booking 2 to 3 weeks in advance.
Can I cancel my appointment?
If you need to cancel your appointment, please call us at 972.670.4937 within 24 hours of your appointment time. This will leave enough time for another bride on our wait list to fill your slot.
How many places should I shop before I come to Say Yes to Your Dress Bridal?
We have a unique selection, so we like our brides to have gone to at least one other appointment before shopping at Say Yes to Your Dress Bridal. This will give you an idea of what you’re looking for before you go through our racks of gowns.
What undergarments should I wear to my appointment?
Wear whatever makes you comfortable! We suggest a strapless nude bra, nude underwear, and Spanx (if desired).
Can we take pictures?
Of course! We love for our brides to take photos of themselves in the gowns to get a feel of how the gown photographs. Be sure to tag us on Instagram @sayyestoyourdressbridal!
How do I know when I’ve found “the one”?
Every bride is different. Some brides get emotional when they’ve found their dress, but some brides don’t. If you can see yourself marrying your fiancé in the dress, then that’s “the one”!
What is your price range for wedding gowns?
We carry designer sample gowns ranging in prices from $499 – $2,500 with sizes ranging from 2-26. All of our gowns are NOT previously worn, owned, or consigned by a bride.
What sizes does your boutique carry?
We carry sizes 2-26. Our inventory is ever changing, so our selections vary per size. Please call Say Yes to Your Dress Bridal to find out how many dresses we have in the size you are looking for.
Do you offer alterations?
While we do not offer alterations in house, we have relationships with many seamstresses that are experienced in bridal gown alterations that we can refer you to. Please note, we are not in agreements with our recommended seamstresses, nor do we receive any payment from them for your business.
Do you have a payment plan available?
For our off the rack gowns we offer a layaway program where you can put down a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of purchase. The remaining balance is due to be paid within 60 days. For our special order selection a 50% payment is due to place your order and the remaining balance is due when your gown arrives.
What is your store’s return policy?
Gowns, veils and accessories are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Purchased items have been sold in ‘AS IS CONDITION’. Any deposits made on a purchased item at Say Yes to Your Dress Bridal are non-refundable.
What is a sample?
Many manufacturers require their retailers to buy a minimum number of pieces to be used as showroom items or samples. These gowns come in a variety of sizes and may have been tried on several times or not at all. These gowns have not been worn in a wedding or altered but they may have some small imperfections, surface dirt, or require small repairs from being tried on. That is why we are able to offer them at 30 to 60% off their original retail prices.
Are children allowed?
Due to the nature of our merchandise, we would ask to not bring children under the age of 5 years old. Infants up to 1 year in a carrier are fine! A bridal salon is not a fun place for children, and they will very quickly get bored sitting in one spot. This will end up distracting you from your ultimate goal of finding your wedding gown. A bridal salon is also not a safe place for children due to loose pins, beads, breakable items, and other hazards. Crying children also distract other future brides on this important day.
Can i bring food or drink?
We ask that you do not bring food/drink into the boutique, unless previously discussed with our staff. Our goal is to protect our gowns in the store. Please inquire if you would like to have champagne provided for your appointment.
